David Harry Stewart | CEO, Founder

David is the founder and face of the AGEIST.  He is an expert on, and a passionate champion of the emerging global over 50 lifestyle.  Previously, has had a highly successful award-winning career as a photographer specializing in people-oriented advertising. His success was the ability to combine insightful strategic thinking of his engineering background, with a high level of design and aesthetics creating impactful, emotive and business-building work. Jack Phan | CTO

Coming from 20 years of engineering and UX experience, he has founded several startups with multiple exits as founder, investor and advisor. Jack has deep experience in business development, technology, product development, content marketing, affiliate marketing, digital marketing, brand and social media and operations. His direct knowledge of the media space and data usage, from among other things being the VP of strategy atDigital Trends, where he helped to scale the company to the #1 private tech media company in the world,  has been instrumental to the on-going build out at AGEIST. 

Glen Chen | Chief Operating Officer

Glen is the Chief Operating Officer of AGEIST and oversees the company's day-to-day operations, human resources, business development and growth strategy.  Prior to joining AGEIST, Glen led business development, sales and operations in California for NextSeed, a community-based financing and investment platform.  Glen started his career as a private equity and venture capital attorney at Paul Hastings in Los Angeles and Kirkland & Ellis in Hong Kong, and has closed over $5 billion in private investment transactions.  Glen has broad experience in growing and scaling early stage companies through his combined legal and business background.  

Lindsay Bodanza|Director of Motion Content

Lindsay is an Executive Producer of noteworthy broadcast TV spots and branded web content. Over the past twelve years she has partnered with directors in both NYC and Los Angeles creating work that spans live action, animation and VFX production. Clients include Apple, Lexus, Cadillac, Airbnb and advertising agencies world wide. With experience in both sales and content production Lindsay is developing opportunities for AGEIST’S strategic brand partnerships. She can be reached at lindsay@agei.st.

Andreas Tzortzis|Head of Content/Publisher

As editorial director, Andreas directs the verbal tone, and curates the content of AGEIST. He has worked as a journalist for the New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Newsweek and Monocle Magazine from Berlin and London before leading Red Bull’s mainstream-facing content platform, The Red Bulletin, from Los Angeles. He specializes in storytelling across multiple platforms - print, digital, video and podcasting - and building new audiences for brands through editorial content. He recently returned to his hometown of San Francisco with his small family.

Matt Hirst | West SF and co-founder of AGEIST

Matt started his career at The Futures Co. (WPP) as a researcher and analyst, both in London and New York. He then moved to Red Bull where he spent nearly a decade (first in London, then Los Angeles) working alongside athletes and cultural innovators to conceive, roll out and scale audacious, disruptive experiential content projects. From there he moved to Google where he spent time as their Global Head of Brand Experience. Today, living in San Francisco, he splits his time between roles as the co-founder of AGEIST, partner at West (a VC and technology consultancy) and being a father of two.

Jonathan Cheung | Head of Global Design Levis

A graduate of the renowned School of Fashion at Kingston University in London, Jonathan got his start working for legendary labels Moschino and Armani in Milan. In 2009, he moved to Levi’s and has served as Head of Global Design for Men’s & Women’s Levi’s since 2013. He has led creative teams in 6 countries and in 3 languages (English, Cantonese and Italian) and currently resides in Mill Valley, on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. He joined AGEIST’s board in February 2017.

Andrea Cullen | Managing Director of Bright Link Ventures

Andrea Cullen is the Managing Director of Bright Link Ventures LTD (BLV), a London-based advisory and consulting firm. Prior to founding BLV, she was a senior member and the director of research of the Tradable Credit Group at Ares Management LLC, a $90 billion asset management firm headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. She had oversight of a $1.7 billion leveraged loan, high-yield bond and CDS portfolio spread across the retail, consumer products and food sectors. She was also the architect and co-chair of the firm's Global Markets Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares Management, Andrea was an analyst in DLJ's high yield group (acquired by CSFB in 2000). Over the course of a 15-year career in finance, she has done primary, proprietary and in-depth analysis on hundreds of retail and consumer products companies and advised many on strategy and capital markets activities. Andrea holds an MBA from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. She currently sits on the advisory boards of ForwardLane and Parcelly and is a mentor at Barclays Accelerator (Fintech focused), powered by Techstars.

Mike Milley | Director of Innovation and Foresight at BMW Group DesignWorks

Mike Milley is the Director of Foresight & Innovation at the BMW Designworks studio in Los Angeles. He leads a cross-disciplinary team that brings the future to life at the intersection of research, strategy, and innovation. Prior to joining BMW, Mike was the founding director of Samsung's Global Lifestyle Research Lab, which anticipated global lifestyle shifts as a way to define product innovation opportunities for Samsung. He's also worked on advanced design teams at Nike and Philips. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Parsons School of Design, and is on the faculty of the graduate Media Design program at Art Center College of Design.

Michelle Breyer | Co-Founder TextureMedia Inc

Named one of the 50 Most Influential People in the Multicultural Market by Women's Wear Daily in 2015, Michelle Breyer is a visionary entrepreneur who took a personal frustration over out-of-control curls and built it into the largest social media platform for hair. TextureMedia reaches 16 million influencers a month, and is considered the top authority for textured hair. What started as a hobby in 1998 now includes two consumer web sites, an ecommerce site, a market research division and a partnership with Modern Salon. TextureMedia is known for its innovation, creating both online and live opportunites for brands and retailers. In September, the company will put on its fourth annual Texture On the Runway show, which has become a staple for both New York Fashion Week and the beauty industry.

Over the past 19 years, Michelle has consulted with numerous brands and retailers to help them develop the right products and communication strategies to most effectively connect with this valuable consumer. This year, TextureMedia celebrates its 20th Anniversary.
