Matt Hirst | Founding Partner
Matt started his career at the Futures Co. (WPP) as a researcher and analyst, both in London and New York. He then moved to Red Bull where he spent nearly a decade (first in London, then Los Angeles) working alongside athletes and cultural innovators to conceive, roll out and scale, audacious, disruptive experiential content projects. From there he moved to Google where he spent time as their Global Head of Brand Experience. Today, living in San Francisco, he splits his time between roles as the co-founder of AGEIST, partner at West (a VC and technology consultancy) and being a father of two.
Ed Delfs | Founding Partner
Ed is a global sales, strategy and operations leader who has successfully built, staffed and scaled multiple large scale digital media and social technology businesses. He is the founder/principal of Delfs Strategic Consulting which focuses on developing strategy and driving growth for emerging and Fortune 500 companies with a focus on digital media, enterprise SaaS software, marketing/influencer technology, social media, online/mobile/video advertising, content marketing, live events and integrated media. He has pioneered new product and revenue categories in the employee advocacy, mobile, music, gaming, entertainment, finance, technology and lifestyle categories. When he isn't chauffeuring his two daughters to their soccer games in San Francisco, Ed can be found surfing, jamming on his guitar or planning his next travel adventure.
Tara Shannon | Women's Content Director
Tara Shannon is an American model and women’s empowerment spokesperson. In the fashion industry for 45 years, she has been on the cover of fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, and Town & Country. In addition, she has appeared in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Chanel, Gucci and Clairol.
She’s appeared as an expert on a wide range of talk shows, from Oprah to CBS News to Good Morning America. Tara was an advice columnist for More Magazineand has been featured in publications like The New York Times, The Annenberg Space for Photography and Expat Amsterdam. Behind the camera, Tara has been speaking on self-worth, addiction, and overcoming trauma for 30 years. Andrea Cullen | Managing Director of Bright Link Ventures
Andrea Cullen is the Managing Director of Bright Link Ventures LTD (BLV), a London-based advisory and consulting firm. Prior to founding BLV, she was a senior member and the director of research of the Tradable Credit Group at Ares Management LLC, a $90 billion asset management firm headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. She had oversight of a $1.7 billion leveraged loan, high-yield bond and CDS portfolio spread across the retail, consumer products and food sectors. She was also the architect and co-chair of the firm's Global Markets Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares Management, Andrea was an analyst in DLJ's high yield group (acquired by CSFB in 2000). Over the course of a 15-year career in finance, she has done primary, proprietary and in-depth analysis on hundreds of retail and consumer products companies and advised many on strategy and capital markets activities. Andrea holds an MBA from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. She currently sits on the advisory boards of ForwardLane and Parcelly and is a mentor at Barclay's Accelerator (Fintech focused), powered by Techstars.
Mike Milley | Director of Innovation and Foresight at BMW Group DesignWorks
Mike Milley is the Director of Foresight & Innovation at the BMW Designworks studio in Los Angeles. He leads a cross-disciplinary team that brings the future to life at the intersection of research, strategy, and innovation. Prior to joining BMW, Mike was the founding director of Samsung's Global Lifestyle Research Lab, which anticipated global lifestyle shifts as a way to define product innovation opportunities for Samsung. He's also worked on advanced design teams at Nike and Philips. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Parsons School of Design, and is on the faculty of the graduate Media Design program at Art Center College of Design.
